How it runs

Stormwater work starts with the regulatory picture: which permit applies, whether the site drains to an MS4 or an impaired water, and what the municipality requires beyond the state minimum. Design follows the NYSDEC Design Manual and the state erosion and sediment control standards, with calculations prepared so a reviewer can trace every number. For SWPPP preparation we assemble the plan, the practices, the sequencing, and the Notice of Intent package. For review work we report what complies, what does not, and what it would take to fix. Inspections are scheduled to the permit frequency and documented in a report the owner, the contractor, and the MS4 can rely on. Jessica is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, which qualifies her as an inspector under the permit.

Questions people ask

01How many inspection sites do you take?

A small number at a time, in Saratoga, Warren, and Washington counties and nearby, so each one gets a consistent weekly visit. Ask early if a site is starting soon.

02Can you review a SWPPP that another firm prepared?

Yes. Independent review for an owner, a lender, or a contractor is a normal engagement. The review names what is missing or inconsistent and what the fix is.

03Do you handle the Notice of Intent and Notice of Termination?

Yes, as part of a SWPPP or inspection scope. Acceptance of the filings rests with NYSDEC and the MS4.
